FAQs
What kind of services do you provide?
I provide copywriting and freelance writing for businesses in the travel industry including blog posts and blog management, destination guides and itineraries, ghostwritten content such as guides, books, and e-books, and website content.
Do you accept requests for sponsored posts, press trips, or brand ambassadorship?
The short answer is yes. However, I do have to have a genuine interest and connection to the project, as well as a positive outlook on the project or destination. If I do not jam with a business or destination, I’m not going to positively highlight something I don’t believe in. By all means, if you feel we would be a great fit, please feel free to contact me.
What kinds of activities do you like to do when traveling?
I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, horseback riding, caving, and snorkeling. What I REALLY enjoy though, is just walking or driving around a destination, making discoveries, and capturing these moments with my camera. I am a huge fan of ruins, caves, tunnels, and animal encounters.
What is your favorite region of the world?
Oceania and the South Pacific. My goal is to visit 50 islands in the South Pacific before I retire.
What is your favorite country so far?
My favorite country so far is Belize. If you want to break it down by hemispheres, it would be Belize in the Western hemisphere, and the Cook Islands in the Eastern hemisphere.
What are some of your dislikes when traveling?
I do not like activities involving motors such as jet skiing or driving race cars. Will I do it? Yes, and I have done these things. I could live without it. I do not like surfing (you’re basically asking to be shark bait), going to big cities, and I do not like music festivals! I am not a huge fan of consistently cold places, and the one animal encounter I am NOT open to is spiders… of ANY kind.
